Here are some of the wishes granted!
Amanda Young
A luxurious one week holiday to Spain. The mother of two Amanda Young has this to say: “We all had the time of our lives and created lasting memories that would live with us for the rest of our lives. We could never dream of a holiday like this without the help of Grant A Smile and their wonder partners – CLC Hotels and Resorts. We are forever grateful!
Max, Daisy and Ivy
Max, Daisy and Ivy are such brave and inspirational children, Max is 14, Daisy is 12 and little Ivy is 3 years old. These three children have been through such difficult times because their mum was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in August last year and though mum is currently undergoing radiotherapy
Titobi
Titobi Adeleye is an intelligent 10 years old child and loves writing. She one day dreamt of becoming a published author but never in her wildest dream did she think that wish would happen to her as a child.
Teddi
Teddi’s mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer with a devastating prognosis of just 2 years. Now 12 months have passed since this life-altering news and Teddi and her family are trying to create as many lasting memories as they can together.
Amelia
Oghenemine is 9 years old, unfortunately she has had a difficult year as her mother has been in hospital for the past 14 months suffering from Lance Adam Syndrome.
Amelia
Whilst we normally focus on families who have a chronically ill parent, this wish has little Amelia at the heart of the family who is, unfortunately, battling several life-limiting conditions. Her mum reached out to us with Amelia’s story and we just couldn’t turn them away.
Abi and Kevin
When we first met Abi and Kevin their mum Frances told us how she had noticed a change in Abi and Kevin after her diagnosis with Lung cancer, it seemed like their childhood had been hindered as a result their mum’s illness, hospital appointment and stress with nothing to look forward to.
Oghenemine
Oghenemine is 9 years old, unfortunately she has had a difficult year as her mother has been in hospital for the past 14 months suffering from Lance Adam Syndrome.
Kayden
Kayden is seven years old and has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD. Kayden would love to assist on an ambulance; he carries a first aid bag with him wherever he goes, and he is also familiar with CPR and the distinction between CPR for a baby and an adult.
He is also obsessed with trains and aspires to be a conductor just for a day. We would love to make his dreams a reality.
