Testimonials

As a person who has a chronic illness, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, finding this service was meant to be. Isolation and struggling to keep up to date with day to day activities is difficult combined with symptoms that disrupt one's life.

I am extremely grateful for the work they do. I sat on the floor I cried. Their work is professional and I was kept up to date through the process. Thank you Joyce and the team for your kindness.

I stumbled across this charity by the grace of God! Couldn’t believe what these guys were offering to people in my position. I was diagnosed with lung cancer with Mets to Hip and Femur in 2013, had surgeries to remove both, since then I have been in pain with the hip bone compacted into metal that they can’t repair because of high risk of kickstarting cancer again, I also have aspergilloma in lung and COPD, my breathing is poor and I struggle with auto-immune which means I’m always battling infections. I have 3 kids and a dog and not much support.
I heard about grant a smile and what they offer to families living with chronic illness and I cried ... the thought of real people giving their precious time to help clean & provide practical home support and grant our children wishes is like a dream come true!! These guys are truly sent from God!!
The fundraising that goes on behind the scenes means we as a family might be able to have a much-needed family holiday and We are all so excited about and the prospect of this just put a smile on my face too, even my kids have noticed the change in my mood! After such a long hall of Doctors and hospital appointments, nurse visits, daily meds and a very sad household at times this has been an amazing support. God bless you angels xxx

I didn’t feel I should be asking for support because It made me feel like I was a fraud and it was extremely embarrassing to ask anyone for support so I suffered alone and in silence all these years. I came across Grant A Smile by chance and it’s the best thing that has happened to my family.

I get an emotional boost just knowing that I don’t have to worry about cleaning and I can spend more time with my daughter when I can. It is amazing to know that there is a service out there for people like me. I just can’t believe that anyone does this kind of good to total strangers.

Thank you to the Grant A Smile team for granting our smiles.

Grant a smile is a breath of fresh air in the community. Knowing that people care enough to go and support families who otherwise would be left struggling is a blessing.

Thank you Grant a Smile team for keeping the fire of hope alight.
