Parents who are suffering from a chronic condition often lack the energy or physicality to clean their own home. Often their families also struggle to find the time to regularly do the household chores as they are busy looking after their loved one in other ways. Financially, many families also struggle if either one or both of the parents are unable to work; or there maybe additional costs due to medical bills or extra journeys to the hospital (and hospital parking costs – eek!).
One of our key services is to visit these families homes and clean their homes for them, for free. We have many amazing volunteers who do this but there is still the cost to the cleaning products.
We are therefore incredibly pleased to announce that Sainsbury’s Stores will be sponsoring us for cleaning products to help us serve these families. Thank you so much! This will really help change lives!
